TO SELL WEB-BASED EMAIL MARKETING SOFTWARE TO SMALL BUSINESSES

Roving and Elibrium Partner to Sell Small Business Email Marketing Products Through Retail Channel

NEEDHAM, Mass. and PALO ALTO, Calif. - March 21, 2001 - Roving Software Inc. and the Elibrium Division of ClickAction (Nasdaq: CLAC), announced today that they will co-market and distribute Roving's Constant Contact(R) Web-based email marketing software through the retail channel. Constant Contact enables small businesses to easily build and manage permission-based email lists, create and distribute professional email communications, and track campaign results without technical or HTML skills.

Elibrium's parent company, ClickAction, is a leading provider of electronic messaging and customer relationship management products and services in the enterprise market. This partnership with Roving provides complementary email marketing solutions to serve the small business customer.

In addition to expanding the reach of ASPs like Roving, Elibrium's unique distribution strategy makes it possible for retailers to leverage the rapidly growing ASP software marketplace, enabling retail stores to generate revenue from the initial sale of the product, as well as a percentage of the ongoing revenue from monthly fee-based solutions like Constant Contact.

Elibrium will leverage its retail channel relationships to aggressively market Constant Contact and will provide a link to the product via the Elibrium Bridge, which is included with all Elibrium packaged products, allowing customers to learn about and try other Elibrium titles.

Beginning in April, Constant Contact will hit the store shelves of more than 2,000 major office supply retailers nationwide including Staples, Office Depot, CompUSA, MicroCenter, and Fry's Electronics. Constant Contact is priced at $39.95, which includes up to six months use of the service.
